TERRY FOX RUN KUALA LUMPUR 2022
2022 marks the 42nd anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope. Each year, Terry Fox Runs are being organised across the globe with the goal of raising funds for cancer research. For millions of people around the world, Terry Fox is the face of hope for research in finding cures for cancer.
This year, Terry Fox Run Kuala Lumpur will take place on
Sunday 18th December 2022, 7.30am, at Kepong Metropolitan Park, Kuala Lumpur.
Terry Fox Run Kuala Lumpur welcomes all, regardless of age, athletic ability or socio-economic standing. The event is a non-competitive, family-oriented fun run. You can run, jog, walk, skate or even ride on someone’s shoulders: the race is against cancer. All donations will go towards empowering cancer research.
Curious to know where to park? Where will we all gather?
- Enter Kepong Metropolitan Park through Gate 1
(main entrance; see route map) - If you are driving, park in the multi-story car park.
- Make you way over to the event site a short walking distance away (see route map)
- Gather at the event stage (see event site aerial map)

“I’m Not a Quitter”. This t-shirt designed by Canadian artist Douglas Coupland in collaboration with the Fox Family embodies Terry’s fierce determination and ‘no quit’ attitude, perfectly captured in his quote from 1980, “Nobody is ever going to call me a quitter”.
