Bald & Beautiful: Go Bald, Raise Funds, Spread Love
WHAT:
Bald & Beautiful is back, stronger than ever before! For the uninitiated, Bald & Beautiful is a head-shaving fundraiser organised by Khind Starfish foundation. Apart from raising money that will be donated to three cancer-related NGOs – namely Kuching Life Care Society, Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society, and of course, Cancer Research Malaysia – the aim for the event is to increase cancer awareness. This year’s event will be held at Eco Ardence in Setia Alam in a public show of moral support for cancer patients and their families. Not only will friends and family get a kick out of seeing their loved ones with a clean-shaved head, participants will also be demonstrating solidarity to patients who have lost their hair due to cancer. It brings people together over a common cause of ensuring those with cancer get the care they need, those who beat cancer feel like they have a community to lean on, and those who worry about cancer are free from this fear thanks to groundbreaking research work. Going bald is a bold thing to do, which YOU can take to help Cancer Research Malaysia and other NGOs beat the Big C. This year, our objective is to raise a whopping RM2,000,000! This is no small feat, and we’ll need everyone to rally in order to make the mark. All the information you need to participate is right here. We hope to see plenty of beautiful, hair-free heads soon!
